Why do we ask you to confirm your appointments?

Have you received a text or email or phone message from us about your upcoming appointment? Our automated system sends messages about a week ahead to remind you of an appointment that may have been made weeks or months ago. We know that many of you make a note of the date and time and plan to attend. But, unless you confirm, WE don’t know that you intend to be here. People at times are on holiday, work schedules have changed and some may have moved! If you are planning to be here, please let us know.


If you cannot attend on the day and time reserved for you, let us know that too! Please don’t assume that not confirming means we know you won’t be here. We make every attempt to contact you if an appointment is not confirmed. Our hygienists and Dr. Tang’s schedules are full-length in advance. Patients are waiting to come in sooner than currently booked. We appreciate a 2 BUSINESS DAYS notice for any appointment changes to offer that time to other patients waiting for care.


So, when you receive our texts or emails requesting you confirm your appointment, please reply. We love knowing we will see you soon!
